I am creating some basic function for MediaPlayer using CyberLink C++, I could get the directory contents from Sony's Cocoon and Intel's media server. However I find many bugs about the control point. The bugs are fixed, but I should check the source codes all.
VideoLAN : I get the latest source codes on Linux, and I could compile the client viewer and play the movie contents from my Cocoon over HTTP. I read their cording style.
Subversion : I used CVS for my projects at work, but I installed the client on Windows and upgraded to the latest packages on Linux for open source projects such as VideoLAN.
NAS-A1 : Sony released a new netoworked audio system which has a 40GB HDD and can download the music contents form Internet. It may support UPnP A/V because it can play music files on PCs using VAIO Media.
Visual C++ Toolkit 2003 : I installed the compiler, but it has no debugger. Using WinDBG and SFU, I might build a development console like Cygwin.
Turing Award : Alan Kay will receive the award.
