I have released CyberMediaGate for C++ that is my reference implementation of UPnP AV Media Server.

The CyberMediaGate supports local file system and some PVR projects such as MythTV to distribute as the content directory service, and release a sample implementation of UPnP AV MediaServer client using VideoLAN client.

I have release new CyberLinks as v1.4.1 too. The changes are bellow.

DIXIM : It is a middle ware for UPnP and UPnP AV development. I would like to know the feature in more detail.

DSM-320 : It supports UPnP AV with 802.11g wireless :-) I would like to buy the product in Japan.

CyberDome : Matushita released the new version that can transform some movie files such as AVI and MPEG2 for the screen and project the transformed movie to the screen.

I have almost finished to support for MythTV using CyberLink C++, and I could play the recorded movies using my modified VideoLan Client. I will write the user's guide next.

Developer Day for the Digital Home : Intel will hold the technical seminar for the digital home developers free. I would like to get only the materials.

NMPR CTT : Intel updated the validation tool. I have to check the CyberLinks usint the NMPR tools.

RD-XS53 : It has two MPEG2 encorder and a satellite broadcasting input like Sony's Cocoon. I hope that they upgrades the software to support UPnP AV MediaServer in the future.

MPM-201/202 : It can play various formats such as MPEG4 and MP3 and record analog broadcastings. However It has no network connections without USB X-<

I am porting the object item plugins such as MP3 and MythTV classes form CyberLink for Java to C++. I would like to release the UPnP MediaServer using the CyberLink for C++ next week.

SGL : I knew the project, but I didn't know that they uses CyberVRML97 in the project to parse VRML97. It seems that they has many fixes about CyberVRML97. I would like to add their fixes to the next release as soon as possible. Thanks Michael :-)

GLOO LABS : They are developing the UPnP AV support to HomePad using CyberLink for Java, and tell me some patches to run the CyberLink on J2ME CDC based on JDK1.3. Thanks Elliot :-)

AirPort Express : Apple will add the function, AirTunes, to iTunes. I wonder if I can get the specification in more detail to develop.

FINK : I have added some development tools such as svn to my PowerBook G4.

BoOS MAX : They released BeOS 5 PE Max Edition V3.1 Beta 1 free. Zeta will be released at this Summer from yellowTAB.

goo Lab : They released the 3D serch engine using InfoLead.

I have almost finished to create my UPnP AV MediaServer using CyberLink C++ for WIN32, and started to add the command line version for Unix and MythTV support.

GV-MVP/RX : I bought the MPEG2 capture board to check MythTV. I could run the v0.15 with the capture board on Fedora Core 1, but the recording has some problems. However I could know the recorded nuv files are based on MPEG2 format, I could play the recorded files using other players directly.

VLC media player : I got the latest package using svn on MacOSX, but I could not compile it because the contribute source site is missing and the contribute libraries is wrong. However I could know that the GUI plugin is built using Cocoa and Objective-C.

MythTV : According to the developers mailing list, the porting to other platforms such as FreeBSD and MacOSX is started.

Cocoon friend's meeting : He is developing a media player for Cocoon using VLC library.

N900iL : It seems that NEC will released the Linux based mobile phone that has a wireless connection for NTT Docomo.

MonsterTV Multi: SKnet released the free recording application that can record and play four programs at the same time.

GF-01 : The bicycle can be moved using arms instead of legs for rehabilitation exercise.

I am developing some user interface about my UPnP Media Server using CyberLink for WIN32 and command line interface. I would like to add more functions, but I might release it after I checked the current functions.

DHWG : They will release the final guidelines on June 22. I would like to read the new guidelines as soon as possible.

Sony to exit key handheld arenas : I hope that they will release new Cobalt based Palm with the wireless connetion.

PODS : The new version, 1.0 Alpha, is released. I have some trouble about the debbuger using the previous version, but I would like to release more light CyberLink for Cobalt.

Linux based N2051 : They showed the linux based mobile phone at Linux World Expo in Japan. They will announce the API with CE Linux Forum.

UNISYS LZW : CyberX3D includes an original GIF89a decorder to load the texture image, but the Japanese patent will expire on June 20, 2004.

MythTV : The minor bugfix release is released as v0.1.5.

VLC media player : The new package is released as v0.7.2.

MeP : Toshiba announced the 32bit RISC processor for digital devices. RedHat will release the GNU based tools.
