I have fixed some bugs of a GTK patch for VLC to support UPnP AV MediaServer. There was some bugs about the multithreading of GTK, and I added a filter only the MediaServer and new discovered devices.

The following dialog image lists recorded movies on Sony's Cocoon, CSV-EX9, in my home. The all titles are Japanese.



PSP : It supports a IEEE802.11b connection. I hope that It can be used as a UPnP Media Player.

Nintendo DS : It has a wireless connection based on IEEE802.11, but the protocol is their orginal format like GBA.

Wireless FireWire : IEEE1394 will support the wireless connection using UWB like USB.

PnP-X : Microsoft announced the new specification to discovery some network devices such as printer and scanner. It seems that UPnP will be extended to add new discovery protocol instead of the SSDP.

Native 802.11 : Microsoft will release the framework with Longhorn and announced to discontinue their wireless products such as MN-700. I would like to the wireless product to check the UPnP functions, but the products are not released in Japan.

Xentera GT8 : It supports 8 display outputs using Mobility RADEON 9000 X-)
